If you get the chance, why not take five minutes to nip down Castle Street to The Old Chapel. Not only is this superb Weslyan chapel building well worth a look, but you'll find an Aladdin's Cave of wonderful antiques, books, etc - in fact enough things of beauty and interest to make you late for lunch - like I was!
Situated in the heart of Axminster, The Old Chapel houses three floors of dealers and craftspeople offering a superb range of antiques, collectables, bygones, vintage clothing, jewellery, books, upholstery services, pictures, studio pottery, textiles, cards, soaps, and more.
Open from 10am-5pm weekdays and 10am-1pm Saturdays.
